Air jordan 11 Cool Greys

December 23, 2010... This was the date that i have been waiting for last year. I was more excited on this day than Christmas because this is the date that the most anticipated shoe of 2010 will be released and this shoe my friend, is the Air Jordan XI Cool Grey. It was last released in 2001 and Michael Jordan wore it against the Knicks in Madison Square Garden exploding for 39 points. It has a suede or nubuck (I'm not sure) material, a patent leather which makes it elegant, a carbon fiber plank plate, and has the nike air technology which makes the shoe comfortable. Sneakerheads are going gaga for this shoe specially in the US where it caused total mayhem

In 2009, the Air Jordan XI Space Jams caused more trouble and I have seen people camping out 5 days before it was released just to grab a pair. People gate crashed and broke in just to have a pair of the space jams. In the Philippines, only 50 pairs of space jams was released by Nike Philippines and it was a first come first serve basis. People camped out for 5 days and some pairs were raffled.

Last year was different because the cool grey 11's was released in 7 Nike Park stores. Went to SM Mall of Asia (they have 15 pairs) to pick up a pair. I came around 8am and i was the 7th on the line. Just want to share some pictures on the the day itself.

Before I lined up, have seen sick shoes:

                                  Lebron VIII south beach
                                          Air Jordan VIII aquas
Air Jordan XI CG(one to rock, one to stock!)
                                          Air Jordan XIII Flints
                                          Line starting to pile up
                                          Keeps on coming
Props to Nike MOA because it was very well organized first five came in

                                                                  11 pairs remaining
8 left and im next, line outside still crazy around 18-20 peeps hoping that the person in

front of them doesn't have their size.
                                                                         GOT MINE!
To cap if off, this is the icing on the cake!

a lot of people lined up but did not purchased a pair. i was supposed to be the 11th on the line if those peeps copped the cool greys.
very much impressed with the quality and im one happy camper! Til next time!

ODesk jobs

One of the most sought after job lately is odesk jobs. It creates an opportunity for us to work at home writing articles, blog articles, providing customer service, layouts, web designs, etc. There are employers online posting jobs and all you have to do is point and click, create an account and they will schedule you for an interview online. If you are good enough, or lucky enough I might say, you can land a job there.
The first time I have heard about this job, I researched about it right away. Because I heard that you can earn around 20+k in Php or around $465 a month if you are working hard enough. It is a good opportunity if you are looking for a par time job at home. The qualifications are: good written and oral communications skills for article writing, blog articles or customer service and you have to be creative and has computer knowledge if you are looking for web designs and layouts. I checked their website (odesk.com)  and there are a lot of jobs posted.
As I was playing through their website, I noticed that you will earn a dollar per article and they will give you at least 2 hours to finish it. Man! You’ve gotta be better than that! They will give you any topic (anything under the sun) and they will give you 2 hours to study it, and write an article about it for a dollar and that’s a mere Php43.00 in 2 hours Php21.50 per hour, which is not enough for a decent meal. You have wasted your time, energy, electricity for a dollar. I know that you can multi task at odesk i.e. working 2 articles at once, or having multiple clients at once too, but c’mon it is not fair. A lot of people here in the Philippines are jobless and those people who doesn't want to be stressed is agreeing to a dollar per article. I know someone who accepted a job for a dollar per article and she thinks it is not worth it. I don’t know what they are doing to those articles and I just think that those articles are being posted online or to magazines. Although there are some employers who give their employees around $3-5 per article but most of the rates will be around $1.00-2.00.
I want to try it but I'm having second thoughts now. I know that it is a good opportunity because it will be a dynamic process and you just have to work at home or to a coffee shop, and you can have free time. You will learn a lot because you would have to study a specific topic and then write something on what you have learned. I understand that this is business and if you don’t want the job then don’t. But c’mon, these writers are writing articles for you and the employer will get all the credit in the world because your name will not be posted that you made those. There are some website who will post your name and give you credit for the articles you’ve made but most of the employers don’t give you the credit.
I know  that this is business and I know that for some it is okay but there are those people who thinks its unfair (including me). So let us hope that some employers would change their ways and will be fair enough to be beneficial for both the contractors and employers. It is true that you can earn a lot here because I know someone who does but because it is becoming a competition, employers are grabbing the opportunity to bring down the costs. This is just an opinion and I can be wrong.
